From Original Power Pop recordings to covers as a member of 28IF.
 
28IF The Band featuring Ray Paul, John Covach & Bob Voellinger return to Lovin' Cup with a brand new theme show. Last year in April 2024, 28IF's 60th Anniversary 1964 Beatles show was packed and a sell out. With their jangly Beatles &'60's-influenced sound, 28IF has consistently drawn fans of the group to their headlining shows at Lovin' Cup.
 
Every 28IF show is a different one and one reason fans of the band keep coming back. Besides including their usual mix of The Beatles, The Byrds, British Invasion and Best of the '60's, this new show will feature two segments with two 60 year salutes. "THE BEATLES MUSIC FROM 1965" will include two sets of music released by THE FABS near or during the year 1965.
 
The other featured set will be RAY PAUL: A Celebration of 60 years In Music. From being an original Power Pop Artist with his solo & RAY PAUL & RPM group recordings from 1978-2021, RAY PAUL is currently performing covers and originals in shows with the 28IF band he founded in 2006.
 
2022 marked the return of 28IF who previously performed at venues in western New York and the Rochester and Finger Lakes region from 2006-2009. Back are founding member and bassist/lead vocalist RAY PAUL, who has reunited with former 28IF guitarist/lead vocalist JOHN COVACH (2008-2009, 2022- ) plus drummer BOB VOELLINGER rounding out the group.
 
So put on your Beatle Boots, mod 60's clothing, wake up your memories and enjoy an evening of nostalgic Fab fun with the sound of the 28IF band.
