 Caylan Hays is a songwriter based in Nashville who has been honing her craft in the shadows for over a decade and is finally stepping into the light. In January 2024, she released her debut EP Dog Days, followed soon after by her second EP I turn my belly to you in October 2024, both via Tone Tree Music. At the end of that month, she and her band recorded her impending 11-song debut album live at Gnome Studios in 48 hours. Her releases to date have been featured on Apple Music playlists ‘Morning Coffee,’ ‘Today’s Acoustic,’ and ‘Acoustic Autumn,’ accumulating over 820,000 streams on Apple Music and 60,213 streams on Spotify.   Raised in a suburb tucked between Kentucky farmland and Cincinnati, Ohio, Caylan is heavily influenced by 90s and early-2000s country music and the classic rock station that pervaded her father’s car radio.
