Born in Baku, she began her musical journey studying classical piano at the Baku Conservatory before transitioning to jazz at the Rotterdam Conservatory in the Netherlands and later at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Figarova has built an impressive career as a jazz artist, blending elements of post-bop, contemporary jazz, and global influences into her compositions. She has been a prolific performer and recording artist, leading her own ensembles and releasing numerous albums, including Twelve and Blue Whisper, which have garnered critical acclaim.
