“…Mr. Webb is still at the top of his game.” – Stephen Holden, New York Times
JIMMY WEBB, the Legendary multi-Grammy Award-winning Songwriter & Musician, performs an intimate evening at Palm Springs Cultural Center in Palm Springs, CA. Join us…
LIVE! Fri, January 24th at 7:00PM. Doors open at 5:30PM.
Jimmy Webb, America’s Songwriter, has written songs that transcend generations and genres including blockbusters like "Wichita Lineman", "MacArthur Park", "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", and "Didn't We".
This Motown-trained composer writes all his own lyrics and music. Mr. Webb is the only hitmaker to score songs on the Pop, Country, R&B, Disco and New Age charts.
During "An Evening with Jimmy Webb", audiences will hear the multi-Grammy Award-winner's songs and experience his insightful and often humorous stories about his work with Glen Campbell, Frank Sinatra, Linda Ronstadt ("Still Within the Sound of My Voice"), Art Garfunkel ("All I Know"), Kanye West ("Famous" feat Webb's "Do What You Gotta Do"), and more!
Jimmy is the author of his memoir, The Cake and the Rain, and the "bible" of songwriting entitled "Tunesmith: the Art of Songwriting".
Mr. Webb welcomes special guest NBC’s The Voice-winner ALISAN PORTER (singer/songwriter).
Tickets: $75-125, Artist Circle and VIP Seating Available. Online at www.PSCulturalCenter.org or TicketWeb.com.
