Jeremy "Gumbo" Christian, a comedian hailing from the heart of Louisiana, is becoming one of the comedy world's brightest stars in the comedy industry, carving his path from the bayous to the bustling streets of Los Angeles, California.

Within a mere six months, he secured his first writing gig with notable platforms like MTV's Wild 'N Out, Amazon Prime's "Laugh After Dark," and received an invitation to Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City."
However, Jeremy's journey faced a sudden twist in 2020 when he encountered a life-changing stroke. Undeterred by this setback, he exhibited unwavering determination and resilience, gradually working himself back into the spotlight.
By 2022, Jeremy made his triumphant return, earning a coveted spot at the inaugural Netflix is a Joke festival. He didn't stop there; he took on the role of hosting and producing his own show, the "Better Late Than Never Show," at the renowned Improv. Which has sold out 25 times to date.
His talent and perseverance did not go unnoticed, as he was recently selected to showcase for Just For Laughs' "Overlooked" in Austin, a platform dedicated to highlighting the next generation of comedy stars.
Now, Jeremy "Gumbo" Christian is set to headline his second Netflix is a Joke festival show in 2024, cementing his status as a future luminary in the comedy world. Keep an eye out for this rising star; his journey from the swamps to the stage is just beginning.
