As pioneers of the ska/punk scene, Catch 22 has built a reputation for smoking live shows and musical innovation. The band formed in the fall of 1996 when founding members Chris Greer, Ryan Eldred and Kevin Gunther set out to play a genre of music that quickly became a huge national trend.

Over 200,000 album sales later, Catch 22 are still one of the most consistent live bands on the road today, filling venues worldwide and helping launch the careers of many others.

The Rude Staff Checkers have been skanking their way through Cleveland Heights, Ohio (and occasionally beyond) since 1999. Once a scrappy five-piece with dreams of ska-punk stardom, they’re now balder, fatter, and perpetually exhausted—but still clinging to their self-proclaimed title as the Ska Kings of Cleveland Heights. Their music isn’t about rebellion or changing the world; it’s more about high school pranks, being unapologetically annoying, and whining about girls who didn’t want to hook up with them.
