Praised by The Village Voice as “one of the most distinctive guitarists to come along in recent years,” guitarist and composer Dave Stryker has released more than 35 albums as a leader and collaborated with iconic artists, including Stanley Turrentine and “Brother” Jack McDuff. Stryker’s working trio featuring Jared Gold and McClenty Hunter plays regularly across New York and tours frequently, including opening for Steely Dan on the iconic band’s recent tours. Recent recordings Prime and As We Are received wide acclaim, the latter featuring John Patitucci, Brian Blade, Julian Shore and a string quartet arranged by Shore, and earning spots on a number of “Best of” lists including the DownBeat Readers Poll, and one for JazzTimes. His albums often hit #1 on the JazzWeek Radio chart, and he earned recognition as one of the top Jazz Guitarists in the 2022 DownBeat Critics and Readers Polls for the 15th time. Stryker grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to New York City in 1980. In addition to McDuff and Turrentine, he has performed with Freddie Hubbard, James Moody, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jimmy Heath, Kevin Mahogany, Eliane Elias, Joe Lovano, and Steve Slagle, among many others. Stryker serves as adjunct profession of jazz guitar at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. 
 

All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table).  If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date.

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Show tickets will be at the door of the jazz club starting at 6:15pm for the 7pm show and 8:45 pm for the 9pm show.

Pre-Show Reception for the 7pm show is in the Boathouse 400 restaurant, located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and is from 5:15pm to 6:30 pm.

Dinner/show packages are available for the 9pm show only. Dinner begins in the Boathouse 400 restaurant at 7pm.

**All Dinner and Show Package prices include applicable taxes of 7% ($6.65) and 18% gratuity ($17.10) One glass of house red or white wine or non-alcoholic beverage + validated parking while you are enjoying dinner and show.are included with dinner packages. For your convenience, a $95 credit will be applied toward restaurant charges. Packages and tickets are non-refundable.
