*NO animals will be allowed on the property (except for authorized service dogs) during the Day Out With Thomas event.
*Special Offers are not applicable for all train ride times. Most access codes are generally for Thomas train tickets only and are invalid for Saturday and Sunday train ride times between 11:00am – 1:59pm local time.
*Event is rain or shine.
*Event site hours are 9:15am to 5:00pm
*Tickets are valid for the date and departure time printed on the ticket only
*Arrive at least 45 minutes early, boarding lines form 15 minutes before each departure time.
*Boarding announcements will be made throughout the day and passengers will be instructed to assemble at the boarding queue.
*Seating for Thomas is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no reserved seating on the Thomas train. Parties wishing to sit together should be standing together in the boarding queue.
*Train depart on time
*Children under the age of 1 do not require a ticket, but must sit on the lap of a parent/guardian.
*Tickets DO NOT include admission to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania nor does it include admission to the regular steam train.
*All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.
*Railcars are Historic Coach Class and Open-Air Accommodations.
*Due to the historic nature of our railcars, Strasburg Rail Road’s passenger train does not meet current Americans with Disabilities Act standards with respect to accessibility. For individuals who use a wheelchair, a mobility device, or have difficulty navigating steps, we do have a mobile lift. (Please note: The mobile lift has a combined weight limitation of 400 pounds). Though we cannot guarantee accessibility, we have a variety of accommodation options available, and we will make a reasonable effort to provide each and every guest who wishes to ride the opportunity to do so. If you are concerned about whether you or a member of your traveling party will be able to board the train, we recommend contacting our business office to discuss your particular circumstances.
