Description
D.K. Lyons is a singer, songwriter, and producer who’s been turning heads with his lyrical creativity and intrigue since his debut LP in 2020. Pulling influence from the likes of Tom Petty, The 1975, Third Eye Blind, Prince, and Jason Isbell, D.K. is dressing up alternative rock to fit him perfectly.
Sydney Worthley is a singer/songwriter at heart with influences from the pop world. While the production of her single “How Soon Is Now?” draws from the 80s with dreamy synthesizers and echoing drums, it can be stripped down to its core to reveal a story of wondering when the heartbreak will end. Prepare yourself for topics of growing pains, raising your standards, speculating about the one that got away, imposter syndrome, and so much more. Sydney Worthley is always allowing herself to grow and evolve, no matter how daunting it may be.
Kim Nicky born and raised in Seattle, Washington, dirtySoul/Rock artist Kimberly Nichole’s (KimNicky) sound was shaped by the grunge music of her hometown and the southern gospel roots of her parents. Her journey led her to NYC where she made a name for herself on the underground music scene and in nightlife by way of The Box NYC/LONDON.
Julia Kwamya New York’s Julia Kwamya makes moody disco: delicate but rigorous synth pop that makes you tap into every emotion possible. Her work exists in a sweet spot between finding the impossible words to articulate sadness, and also being able to be joyful, to get down and groove. It’s a little Bossa Nova, a little High Life à la her African parents. Think of her music as like what would happen if Sade fronted the Knife. Ecstatic, weird, unafraid wearing one’s heart on one’s sleeve.
