Erik Jekabson is a versatile and highly accomplished jazz trumpet player, composer, and educator known for his lyrical tone, inventive improvisations, and creative compositions. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jekabson has established himself as a prominent figure in the jazz community, performing with a wide range of notable musicians and ensembles. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with luminaries such as John Mayer, Illinois Jacquet, Galactic, and Kermit Ruffins.
