The band met in Trondheim while studying music, and recorded their debut album in the
studio ran by singer and bass player, Simen. After the release of “The Glow” in 2015 they moved to Oslo where they’ve been living in a damp and cluttered rehearsal space/makeshift studio, recording hours upon hours of music. They embrace the analog process of recording live jams, taping trio song skeletons, and continuously expand their musical toolbox. Through this Gold Celeste has elevated their arrangements and their follow-up record is a spirited and eager voyage.

It seems fitting that Williams is the inventor of a system for understanding relationships called Musical Astrology — an app that allows you to hear the music of your birthdays, as well as the precise musical pitches of the planets in relation to Earth, on any given day.
