Brothers Nick and Peter Furgiuele are the constant creative force of Gringo Star, and have outlasted wave after wave of buzz bands and indie blog darlings, carving their own career path through constant reinvention and an unparalleled work ethic, amassing a loyal and enthusiastic international fanbase along the way. The Demos create a brand of musical energy all their own. Lyric-centered and heavy on the harmonies, their songs are upbeat, lush reflections on love – the possible, present, and past. After working with Joywave’s Daniel Armbruster on their last EP “If You Only Knew”, The Demos caught the attention of many press outlets, musicians, and fans alike. This gained them support slots playing with bands such as Cold War Kids, Foster the People, as well as tours with multiple national recording acts such as Joywave, grandson, Jukebox the Ghost and The Aces.
