“Anything”, the new album by the Jenner Fox Band will come out May 9th. This will be a special pre-release show at the Tractor Tavern! 

A tattoo of a heart, the river in your hometown, a bell, a whale, the dog park, your sweater collection, anything. Recorded live to tape at Sage Arts Recording Studio in Arlington, WA, the new record and the critically acclaimed live show will knock your socks off, and then the band will try to sell you new socks at the merch table.

Since their conception on an experimental cargo bicycle tour through California in 2021, the Jenner Fox Band has delighted audiences up and down the west coast. The five piece band features pacific northwest all-star musicians on piano, organ, electric guitar, bass, dobro, acoustic guitar, and layered vocal harmony.

    There is something that happens inside a good song. A tootsie roll can take you back to your elementary school playground; a list of baby names becomes a prayer; the voice of a toothless refrigerator man reminds you to say “I love you.” Jenner Fox tells the stories of people and places with unparalleled compassion and respect. His artful tone, poetry, and fluency on his guitar do something only the brave ones do: let us in.

    Jenner comes from a family of river guides. He followed the family river trade and recorded his debut album to make some extra money selling CDs on the boat ramp after rafting trips. Five albums later, a decade of cutting his teeth on the river and road, Jenner is a storyteller, a peanut butter purist, a cargo bike advocate, a Pacific NorthWesterner, and that rare kind of songwriter with the ability to, “Gather up what we see as common as crab apples and polish them into shiny orbs. To give himself and let us see ourselves.” – Sheridan Press.

    Seattle’s Tobias Bregar grew up on Bainbridge Island in the Puget Sound with his dad’s recording studio out the back door and a house full of instruments. At a young age he started playing piano, then drums, then guitar, all the while tinkering with musical concepts of his own. He writes songs of hardship, inspiration, and introspection.  His music depicts places, people, moments and are relatable, accessible, and above all filled with passion. His music crisscrosses through genres - he blends Bon Iver, Sam Beam, and Buck Meek into his own style, richly woven with finger picked guitar, dreamy soundscapes, catchy horns, and cathartic release.
