Before the world fell apart, she made her late night debut on Conan, and as an actor, she's appeared in a viral commercial for Lyft with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, was featured on 'The Joel McHale Show' on Netflix, 'Based On A True Story' on Peacock, and was a guest star on 'Stan Against Evil' on IFC. You may recognize Valerie's voice from her work on scripted podcasts, animation projects, and several ad campaigns, including Google Home Mini. As a standup, she tours the US regularly, bringing her delightfully relatable stories to clubs like The Improv and The Comedy Store, and several festivals like Limestone and Laughing Skull. Between road dates, Valerie produces and hosts The Mermaid Comedy Hour, the longest-running all-female comedy show at The Hollywood Improv. She regularly features for Emmy Award-winning comedian Dana Gould and her debut comedy album "Beach Trash" debuted at #1 on the iTunes charts. When she's not slinging jokes, you can find her at her pinball league pumping quarters into the Jurassic Park table while quoting Dennis Nedry.

Katie Novotny has the self-depreciating humor of a Midwestern tomboy. She doesn't shy away from her Catholic upbringing, her gyno appointments, her anxiety and depression, and her love of night snacking. But she is afraid to talk about sex. Mainly cause she rarely has it. As a stand up, she’s been a finalist in Amsterdamn’s Boom Chicago Comedy festival, HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, San Diego Comedy Festival, and Ladies of Laughter Festival. Before going solo on stage, she trained at Second City and iO in improv and sketch comedy, she produced two award-winning webseries, and her comedy pilot scripts have landed her as a finalist in Slamdance and Screencraft. Most notably she’s known for plotting ways to take advantage of arthritis in her knees in hopes to be an influencer for Bengay.
