Mestizo Beat is an instrumental group based out of Los Angeles offering the next wave of West Coast Latin Funk. Inspired by the 1960's - 1970’s era of funk & soul, Mestizo Beat mixes afro-latin rhythms with deep grooves and psychedelic overtones that has developed into the bands signature sound. Formed by two brothers, guitarist Aquiles “Lito” Magaña and drummer Agustin "Gus" Magaña, who have carefully curated a unified collective of musicians that when together, can ignite dance floors across the globe
 

Boostive, led by Chilean, Asian, American producer Seiji Komo, is a Dub-Hop, World, Soul music collective out of San Diego, CA. Looking at the bands discography you can see their sound is truly dynamic, blending elements of downtempo electronica, dub-reggae, cumbia and hip-hop, the groups musical gumbo is tasteful blend of all the musical influences each member brings to the table.

Boostive is known for their explosive 6-10 piece live band. Their talent has earned the group shows with many of their musical heroes including Lee “scratch” Perry, thievery corporation and slightly stoopid. They are currently working on new music and gearing up for festival season.
