Hailing out of Buffalo, NY, a town rich with music history, David Michael Miller, nationally-touring founder and lead singer of Miller and The Other Sinners, brings his brand of acoustic based southern soul to Treelawn with his side solo project, Miller’s Garage.  

Named after his grandfather’s business in Wellsville, NY where he spent a lot of time growing up, Miller uses this side project as a story-teller for introducing his songs and the stories in their individual lyrics and melodies.  He blends his diverse americana influences pulling from gospel, country blues, soul and folk.  Garages are a place to fix broken things, disassemble and put back together again.

 

Since 2014, solo or with his band, Miller has done over 1400+ shows all over 26 states, opening or sharing the stage with The Steve Miller Band, Gov’t Mule, Rusted Root, Anders Osborne, Flaming Lips, Kingfish, Eric Gales, to name a few, and playing festivals such as Telluride Blues and Brews, Musikfest, Borderland, Rochester Jazz Festival, Fairport and great rooms/events like the Tralf Music Hall, Redstone Room, the famous Double Door (now closed), Madlife Stage & Studios and Levitt Amphitheater!  Whether on festival stages or in smaller venues, Miller always brings our positive vibe and energy to each show.
