Noise Service will release their self-titled debut album on all streaming platforms on February 27th, 2025, with a live-streamed release show at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard at 9:30 PM. Opening acts include sinister pop band Oliver Elf Army and powerhouse alt-rockers Cherry Dragon. Fans can preview the album with singles "Oh, Ruby!" and "Who’s Gonna Know" on Bandcamp and YouTube.
Founded in 2021 by Corey Ray Zimmerman, Katharine McAllister, and Rolando Sotomayor Pino, Noise Service has become a standout in Seattle’s indie scene with their dynamic live shows and genre-blending sound. Their debut album fuses the kaleidoscopic effects of ‘60s psychedelia, the grit of ‘90s alt-rock, and vibrant Latin fusion, showcasing a fearless approach to music-making.
To capture the perfect balance of power and intimacy, the band recorded drums at Jack Straw Cultural Center, while the rest was meticulously crafted at home. This DIY approach allowed time to experiment with layers of guitars, harmonies, and unconventional sounds like vibraslaps, windchimes, and audio of NASA's Ganymede flyby. Mixed and mastered by Jack Endino in 2024, the album combines raw creativity with professional polish.
The Tractor Tavern, a premier venue known for launching the careers of notable artists, sets the stage for Noise Service’s debut splash. Limited edition signed CDs will be available at the show. Visit noiseservice.com to follow the band and stay updated on their second experimental album, already in progress with new multi-instrumentalist Andy Mowdy.
