    Music

New York-born and raised Patrick Bobilin and Sarah Simon have led MIDNIGHTCHOIR since 2023. The darkwave duo writes hard-hitting political anthems against driving rhythms and are gaining notoriety for their intense live performances.

Their latest release, TEMPTATION (DEMOS), shows the band collaborating and expanding beyond their goth and post-punk influences. Post-Punk.com calls the release "brilliant":
TEMPTATION (DEMOS) reflects the fractures of a fraught political moment, pulling no punches as it delivers its message with sharp-edged sincerity. The collection finds MIDNIGHTCHOIR pushing past their post-punk lineage. The specters of Sisters of Mercy and Depeche Mode linger, yet the duo transforms these influences into something rawer; something NOW.
While July 2023's Loverboy Molotov LP was made with political urgency in mind, recent songs have covered the climate crisis, corporate power, and social turmoil. Their next LP, Debtor's Disco, will be released in 2025. It takes a lighter tone, while still maintaining focus on the duo's worldly concerns. To quote the unreleased Keep Your Revolution: "You can keep your revolution/ if we can't dance to it./ Because we're not going out on our knees. / We're going out on our feet."
  • Bustié

    Bustié

    Alternative

Bustié is an dark electro project formed by primary artist Angie Padilla aka Pogo Pope, with recent addition Summer Perlow of hardcore band Soakie.  Heavily influenced by 80's Freestyle / Electro, UK Punk, and Janet Jacksons " Rhythm Nation 1814," Bustié craft a sound of socially conscious dance music that they coin as "Anarcho Body Music."
  • Winkie

    Winkie

    Alternative

Crafting a kind of apocalyptic soundtrack for the emotionally unhinged, NY band Winkie shouldn’t exist, but somehow it does. In a world increasingly awash with the inauthentic, they remain a stark anomaly— a dark noisy force that pulls you under, all while quietly redefining the limits of both sound and experience. Influences like Killing Joke, Cranes, Suicide and The Jesus and Mary Chain are there, but Winkie is not interested in nostalgia. Not just a band, Winkie is a glitch in the system, a warning sign, a reminder that we are all just waiting for the world to implode.
  • Baby Delgado

    Baby Delgado

    Alternative

Baby Delgado blends 80s goth inspiration with industrial dance rhythms. Perfect for a graveyard love affair.
  • Sex Fixx

    Sex Fixx

    Garage Punk

Sex Fixx is a glam punk band . Their sound carries the nostalgia of 80s hair metal from Hollywood and gritty 70s punk from New York City. Glitter rock, glam, raw, punk, and anything sleaze . Lead singer Atz Magick moved from Hollywood to New York in 2021 to start a band. She would meet Colin Maxwell, the guitarist at the Guitar Center in Manhattan later that year. Their first single came out in their debut music video "Waiting For You" in April of 2022. The self titled EP "SEX FIXX" was released later that year in June. It features 5 songs all very elementally diverse. They now travel all over to perform and are planning a new album now.
