Blending the sun-soaked rhythms of reggae, the anthemic energy of rock, and the infectious hooks of pop, Pak and The Lolos deliver a genre-bending sound that moves both hearts and dance floors. Fronted by Hawai’i-born singer/songwriter Daniel Pak (Kore Ionz, Totem Star), the band is a powerhouse collective featuring the soulful and versatile Chava Mirel (Duende Libre) on vocals and multi-instrumentals, the groove-heavy Karl Olson (Clinton Fearon, Polyrhythmics) on drums and percussion, deep-pocket bassist Jefferson Rose (The Pazific), and electrifying lead guitarist Sam Damage (Lauryn Hill).
In July 2024, Pak and The Lolos electrified a crowd of 5,000+ as headliners of Downtown Sounds in Bellingham, highlighting their unique ability to command the stage and connect with people of all walks of life. Now, the band is crafting their debut record with Grammy-winning engineer Masa Fukudome, promising a fresh wave of music that captures their signature blend of island soul, high-voltage rock energy, and feel-good vibes.
