Park Ave West Songwriters Speakeasy opened its doors in 2020 to songwriters and artists to have a creative space to collaborate and share their musical ideas, fostering a vibrant community where talent can flourish and new melodies come to life. The intimate setting encourages collaboration, experimentation, and the exchange of inspiration, making it a hub for both emerging and established artists to connect and grow.
Park Ave West Fest is a showcase of local talent, featuring full band and accoustic performances from a diverse lineup of songwriters and musicians. This event celebrates the creativity nurtured at the Speakeasy, providing artists with the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience while also building connections within the music community. Park Ave West Fest aims to inspire attendees and highlight the rich tapestry of sounds and stories that emerge from this collaborative environment. -
Born & Raised in the little town of Salem, Missouri, Collin Nash grew up surrounded & consumed by music. The sounds of George Jones, Roger Miller, Tom T. Hall and Merle Haggard taught him how to tell stories. For nearly a decade, he has written & been a hired gun for many country music artists. He has co-written songs for Tyler Halverson, Ben Chapman, Harper O'Neill as well as many others. Now stepping out on his own with a blend of raw country, americana & bluegrass, Collin brings forward a fresh, yet familiar approach to the craft of songwriting & storytelling.

THE GIRL IN BAND SHIRTS & BOLO TIES
Country. Soul. Pop. Rock ‘n Roll.
Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago and finding her home in Tennessee by way of North Carolina, Maura Streppa combines her northern roots and southern influence into one. Heavily influenced by musicians ranging from Lowell George and John Prine to Janis Joplin and Dolly Parton, Maura creates a home for lovers of old and new. Her southern rock vocals take modern country melodies to a new level. Maura’s writing ranges from upbeat honky tonk tunes to raw, intimate songs about her daily struggles.
With 12 songs available on all streaming services, Maura’s music has been recognized by Billboard, Sirius XM “The Highway”, iHeart Radio “Women of Country”, as well as her song “Singer and The Song” winning the 2022 Tennessee Songwriters Week.

Getting out of the way of the story and letting it speak for itself has been a guiding force for Canterbury for almost his entire songwriting career, and it’s evident that he’s perfected that area of his craft. Instead of waxing poetic over hackneyed issues and tropes, Canterbury eloquently illustrates the complexities of life with a millworker’s vernacular and a hefty southern drawl.

Independent and powerful, yet humble and relatable, Sadie Campbell and her heart-stirring voice will drive deep into your soul. The Canadian-born, Nashville-based artist explains, “On a road trip, you’re going through different scenery, through tall mountains and then total flatlands. You have beautiful and sunny mornings, and then the sun goes down, and everything is moodier. That’s similar imagery to the songs on my debut album, 'Metamorphosis'. There’s drastic differences in the dynamics and themes of the songs- just like a great road trip.” Campbell’s first full-length record is slated for release in late 2024, and embodies the ups and downs of a long drive. “It’s a variety of light and dark—different scenery, moods, and themes all together on the same project,” says Campbell. “It’s my lessons and my journey.” -
A Nashville-based singer-songwriter with an honest, plainspoken vocal, an eclectic-roots sound and a knack for bringing crystalline characters to life, Jack McKeon is a different sort of musician. A student of the greats drawn to the timeless, rather than the trendy, he hails from Chatham, New York and harbors a deep love for the written word. First inspired by literary music icons from Hank Williams and Guy Clark to Tom T. Hall and John Hartford, McKeon arrived in Nashville in 2021 and has since established a reputation for his own message-drive lyricism – a value which shows up in its full sonic serenity on his 2024 album debut, Talking to Strangers.
