    George Clanton

    Electronic Pop

With 5 years since his last solo as LP, George Clanton is back with his new highly anticipated statement album “Ooh Rap I Ya.” Truly a multidisciplinary artist revered for his DIY approach to everything - including managing his own record label (100% Electronica), and curating multiple music festivals - George is best known for his contributions to underground music. For over a decade George has spearheaded multiple creative shifts in so called “Internet music,” including compositional vaporwave, and the more recent “Baggy Revival” phenomenon. After releasing several full length albums already considered essential listening to multiple independent subcultures, George had his first brush with mainstream indie acceptance with 2018’s “Slide” album.

Newfound indie success placed him on the radar of a childhood hero, Nick Hexum, singer for the rock band 311. The resulting full length collaborative album defied expectation, blending disparate styles into something truly one of a kind - beautiful and authentic to both of the artists’s signature styles.

When the global pandemic halted live events indefinitely, George utilized the time to write and rewrite a distillation of all of his musical output in the form of a new LP. “Ooh Rap I Ya” arrives July 28 2023 and will preface the most extensive touring of his career.

As a genre-hopping DIY artist, George Clanton has never been the next big thing - never the subject of a Tik Tok trend, or the center of any cultural moment. George Clanton exists inside of a world of his own creation, and with a large and ever growing international cult following, his decade spanning influence is not to be overlooked.

    Mind's Eye

    Alternative

Mind’s Eye are in the midst of a career-making year, including their first US headline tour (sold out shows in Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix, and LA @ El Rey), support tours with late night drive home and Hockey Dad, and nearing 70 million global streams. Over the course of the past two years, the high-energy quintet have developed a rampantly loyal and perpetually growing fanbase, depicted beautifully here in the band's recent TikTok. Hailing from the backyards and skateparks of the Bay Area indie scene, Mind’s Eye blends elements of SoCal indie, surf, and alt rock to create their signature sound. Jangly guitar riffs, melodic bass lines, and lyrics that reflect on love and heartbreak are all staples of the band’s style. Following the success of their breakout single “Wasted Affairs,” they debuted their full-length studio album Long Nights and Wasted Affairs, and the record’s fresh sounds and more experimental production made the band a staple in the SoCal indie scene.

    Indie Rock

“Too romantic for the punks, too fierce for the goths. We play passionate post-punk” ♱ Formed in late 2021, Los Angeles’s DECEITS are putting the passion back in post-punk. Named after a track from the UK’s highly underrated The Wild Flowers, the trio have garnered a cult-like following in the goth/alternative underground through their catchy melancholic soundscapes and energetic live performances. Not afraid to stand out, DECEITS took it upon themselves to play post-punk that wasn’t restricted to just being moody and monotone. Founded on a shared endearment of bands like The Cure, Human Tetris, Motorama, The Chameleons and For Against, and not afraid to pull from influences outside of the “goth” musical tree, the band is made up of Kevin “Puppy” Moreno (Vocals, Bass Guitar, Keyboards), Skylar Francise (Guitars) and Francisco Saenz (Percussions). After a steady release of well received singles, DECEITS released their debut studio album “If There’s No Heaven…” in November of 2023 independently. Powered by modern de facto post-punk goth anthems like “Drowning In An Empty Sea” and “Mi Amor, Mi Vampira”, the album would be well received leading the band to tour across the U.S., headline their own show at the prestigious El Rey Theater, and being invited to play with legendary bands in the scene like The Chameleons & Diva Destruction to name a few.

Saint Luna is a rock band hailing from San Diego, California. The boys have carved a section of the Indie scene for themselves by bringing back the golden age of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Between the look and sound, their identity stands out from the rest of the So-Cal music scene. Loud drums, heavy guitars, and addictive melodies bridge the gap between old souls and contemporary listeners. Their live sound is nothing but electric and has captured fans at sold out shows across the West Coast.

    Braxton Hicks

    Alternative Country

Braxton Hicks is what happens when a San Diegan boy buys his first pair of cowboy boots.

It began when singer/songwriter, Mikey Carnevale (The Frights) had the silly idea of starting a side project that would allow him to write country songs without alienating The Frights fans more than they already claim to have been alienated. A doomed venture right out the gate… Nevertheless, the band developed quickly as Mikey gathered a group of relentlessly talented musicians who play in the likes of fellow San Diego bands Mrs. Magician and Hey Chels.  The roots of these songs can be easily traced to a deep love and curiosity for 1970s country songwriters (Gram Parsons, Waylon Jennings, Townes Van Zandt, etc). And so it was that Braxton Hicks was born and now hits the hard streets of San Diego as the rowdiest country band in town.
