Emerging from the dynamic streets of Conant Gardens in Detroit, Slum Village is not just a music group, but a close-knit brotherhood tied together by friendship and their shared musical passions. Established in the early 1990s by T3, Baatin, and the iconic J Dilla (also known as Jay Dee), the group quickly became a cornerstone in Detroit's hip-hop scene.

J Dilla’s, enduring influence continued to shape the group, with his protégé and Grammy-nominated producer Young RJ stepping in as a rapper in 2009. T3 and Young RJ’s stewardship, Slum Village has continued to innovate, producing revered albums such as "Trinity" with the standout track "Tainted," and "Detroit Deli," featuring the popular single “Selfish” with Kanye West and John Legend.

T3 and Young RJ have been instrumental in preserving and expanding the group's legacy, leading to later albums like "Villa Manifesto" and "YES," which includes posthumous productions by Dilla. Today, Slum Village remains a celebrated name in the world of Detroit hip-hop. With over a decade of collaboration, T3 and Young RJ stay true to the group’s founding ethos while introducing new vitality and a contagious zest.

Their recent works, including singles "Request," “Factor,” “So “Superb” and the acclaimed album “F.U.N.” featuring artists like Cordae, Larry June, Elijah Fox, and Eric Roberson, highlight their continued commitment to breaking new ground and thrilling audiences globally.     United Grind co-founder, Vice Souletric is a conscious Hip Hop artist and producer that rekindles the days of True School Hip Hop in a modern day form.


    The Ohio native boasts a four album discography that features appearances and production from the likes of Talib Kweli, Benny The Butcher, 9th Wonder, Skyzoo, Hi-Tek, Young RJ, Guilty Simpson, Reks and many more.

    Vice returns with his most powerful and diverse collection of music to date. Vice for President 4 includes the Ohio emcee’s trademark clever bars over top-notch production from some of Hip Hop’s elite beatsmiths such as Pete Rock, Nottz, Apollo Brown, Young RJ, JR Swiftz, D.R.U.G.S., DJ Flash, Kel-C,and Vice himself.

    Vice also called on some of the most respected emcees in Hip Hop to feature on the album, including Slum Village, RJ Payne, Elzhi, The Musalini and United Grind family, HiJinks, Juggernaut June, Lee Harvey and Nu Face. Rounding out the sound for the project is DJ Nu ERA who provides his signature scratch phrases throughout the album.

    Will Cherry is an artist and producer hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. His eclectic influences range from Marvin Gaye to Kanye West and everything in between, and while his music is rooted in hip-hop, he often dips into the sounds he was primarily raised on: Gospel and R&B.

    Through producing and mixing his own music, Will has curated his own sonic palette and directing his own videos has led to a consistently clear vision. Over the years, the artist has collaborated with Baby TateDreamer IsiomaSango, and many other artists to create some of his most memorable songs. His work been covered on MTV, Pitchfork and Pigeons & Planes, while his videos have won honors in the Cleveland Short. Sweet. Film Fest and been featured in the London Music Video Festival.

    Through booming production, sleek vocals and atypical arrangements, Will's music is as unpredictable as it is infectious, and presents a unique perspective.
