Stepping Feet (a tribute to the Dave Matthews Band) is comprised of professional touring and recording musicians based out of San Diego and Los Angeles. The band was created in 2002 by singer/guitarist Mike Myrdal and bassist Sam Johnson to celebrate the music of Dave Matthews with some of the best local musicians. Our main goal has always been to spread the joy of Dave Matthews music while putting our own spin and flare into the music as opposed to mimicking or copying the Dave Matthews Band. Fans of the Dave Matthews Band should expect to hear familiar hits, a few deep tracks, ripping violin and sax solos, and a similar live energy to DMB as 6 long time friends showcase their talents through Dave Matthew’s music.
