*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Thais Clark & the Jazzsters
Born and raised in New Orleans' Seventh Ward, Thais Clark is a high-energy vocalist with a deep-rooted passion for the bawdy numbers popularized by blues legends Ma Rainy and Bessie Smith. Regarded as a New Orleans legend, this dynamic singer-dancer can present each song like no one else. She has more than 30 years of experience performing for audiences around the world including her performance in the 1979 hit Off-Broadway musical, “One Mo’ Time,” alongside Topsy Chapman.
