Born of the seeds planted by the acoustic music of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, the Warblers perform roots music with a rock n’ roll heart. If you were to sit an astute Musicophile stage front they would be quick to note rootsy originals peppered with covers ranging from blues and bluegrass standards to takes on tunes by Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead and many others. All that to say, these four musicians have a great respect for American music but come at it in a non-traditional way.

The Tennessee Warblers with Judy Paster
-
A Nashville institution, the Tennessee Warblers have been jamming folky grooves since 2014 as part of Music City’s vibrant bluegrass and jam community. The group held a 5 year residency at Nashville’s legendary Sutler Saloon before releasing their debut record, SMALL TOWN SONGS, and embarking on various local, tour and festival dates. They are currently working on their follow up record.
“GREAT MUSICIANS WITH A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR & GREAT SONGS.”
— ANA LEE - WMOT ROOTS RADIO
“THE WARBLERS FLIRT BETWEEN BEING LOOSE AND DISCIPLINED, WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO DO AND REMAIN BLUEGRASS. THAT MAGIC HAPPENS WHEN KNOWING WHAT TO DO IS ALREADY MUSCLE MEMORY.”
— BRYCE HARMON - MURFREESBORO PULSE -
Nashville-based, Pennsylvania-grown country Americana artist Judy Paster breathes life back into the timeless roots music genre. She has become known for her strong spirit and distinctive style that evoke 70s singer/songwriters with a contemporary edge. With her Trio debut, she unites with two Grammy-winning musicians from The Time Jumpers Band, combining acoustic guitar, upright bass, and fiddle to create a lush musical backdrop for her stunning songs, & bringing tranquility amidst life's chaos. Paster originally gained notoriety in Billboard with her rootsy self-titled debut EP, Judy Paster, when she was referred to as an artist “truly on the rise." Shortly after, Paster moved to Nashville and found herself getting local airplay and carving out her own niche in the Nashville singer/songwriter community. Since making the move to Music City, Paster has garnered numerous music awards including the 2021 Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year, and a Canadian Covenant Award (the Canadian equivalent of America’s Dove) for co-writing the Jazz Blues Song of the Year. She is a three-time GMA (Gospel Music Association) Covenant award-nominee and has recorded with Southern Gospel legends, the Gaithers. Paster has written and shared the stage with some of Nashville’s top hit songwriters and has also written for film and TV. Her song, “Christmas Crush” (co-written with Bill DiLuigi and Corey Lee Barker) is featured in a Lifetime TV movie called ‘The Holiday Exchange’ this holiday season, 2024.
Most recently, Paster has signed with Synapse Publishing & Entertainment to collaborate with three other female country artists/songwriters on Women Behind the Lyrics, a reality TV series and national tour. Following her debut EP, Paster has released four additional albums, Stronger, Rubies, Rocks & Stones, Like Stardust, & her most recent, Road To The Sun, alongside several singles.
