The Unexpected was founded by lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Walker Clarke in Anderson, SC. The rock/blues band quickly found their footing playing in and around the area, becoming local favorites in their small town. Their distinct organic sound takes listeners back to the days where tube amps, fuzz pedals, and blues riffs were king. It’s clear that the band is Clarke’s passion project - his energetic performances have helped them quickly build a strong following in their home state of South Carolina.
