-Most access codes are generally for Thomas tickets only, not Percy
-Ticket holders will receive an armband to grant them access to paid admission areas and all Thomas activities. Armbands need to be picked up at an entrance booth before site entry. Visitors who received their tickets via email in advance should present their tickets at any information booth or the Will Call/ Ticket Box Office booths to receive armbands.
-All visitors are required to have a ticket for ages 1 and up. Under 1 do not require a ticket but must ride in the lap of a paying adult
-Individuals ARE NOT permitted to walk around the grounds without a ticket. Arm bands must be displayed at all times.
-Strollers will not be allowed on the Thomas or Percy train. A special parking area will be provided near the trains to leave strollers. Visitors are encouraged not to leave valuables in the strollers while they are left in this area. Please make sure your stroller is clearly identified with your name or other device since many strollers may appear similar when grouped together. The museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
-Digital, film and video cameras are welcome at the museum. Visitors may not stand on railroad tracks for photos. Visitors may take photos at a safe distance alongside the tracks or from the public walkways
-Event is rain or shine
-Tickets are valid for the date printed on the ticket only. Event tickets grant access to the grounds for the entire day, but ride times are limited to the times on the tickets.
-Arrive at least one hour early, trains depart on time, you may line up for boarding 20 minutes prior to train departure
-Food and drink (except water) are not allowed on the Thomas/Percy trains or in certain exhibit areas.
-No pets except approved service animals.
-No climbing on rail equipment unless permitted by museum signs, No walking on tracks or in closed-off areas of property.
-Outside food is allowed, but cannot be consumed on the trains
-The museum is walking intensive and involves entering and exiting several buildings and outside areas. Visitors with mobility issues are encouraged to bring their own wheelchairs, walkers, etc, as required.
-A lift is available on the train to help board passengers who may need a wheelchair. One car of the Thomas train has a wheelchair lift and several wheelchair spaces along with accompanying seating. One car of the Percy train has a wheelchair lift and two wheelchair spaces along with accompanying seating. All other cars of both the Thomas and Percy trains are not ADA/wheelchair accessible due to exemption for their vintage nature. Most areas of the site are ADA accessible.
-The rail cars used for the ride are a mix of 1920s-1950s era coaches that have been professionally restored and maintained. Some cars have opening windows, others have sealed windows with air conditioning as needed. Although we will do our best to accommodate passenger requests for open window or air-conditioned cars, we cannot guarantee availability.
-Groups with specific seating requests or wishing to sit together should board together and are encouraged to arrive early. Staff will do its best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee specific requests.
-All passengers are loaded from a single boarding line for each ride time.
