Singer/songwriter Vicki Chew has been performing her original music in Northeast Ohio for over 30 years. A favorite and mainstay at the legendary Barking Spider,  Vicki and her band make their debut at the Treelawn Social Club on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 8 PM.  Vicki is one of those rare musicians whose beautifully crafted music effortly blends genres and draws influences from Jazz, Folk, R+B, Rock, and Latin music. Vicki's songwriting is about the best you'll ever encounter - with the voice of a poet she has the uncanny ability to whisk listeners away to another time and place. 

The Vicki Chew Band is composed of  Paul Lawson on Bass guitar and vocals, and Gary Naherny on Drums and vocals.  Fellow musician Caroline King describes the Vicki Chew Band  "as one organism with the same beating heart." 

 

Vicki has released four CD's "Your Perfect Life" (with Under The Tree), "The Bells of St. Rose";  "People in the Sun"; and "We Are The Lucky Ones" '.
