A Full-Circle Moment As pioneers of Ukrainian rock and punk, Vopli Vidopliassova shaped the sound of a nation and inspired generations of artists—including Eugene Hütz. In the ‘80s, VV was Hütz’s favorite band, defining his musical path. When he launched Gogol Bordello, their first big NYC show was opening for Vopli Vidopliassova in the late ‘90s. Now, decades later, these two icons reunite, bringing unstoppable energy and Ukrainian spirit to the iconic Sony Hall.
